Cube root trick

Here is a quick and easy method to final cube root of perfect cube numbers in just 10 seconds.

Learn first ten cubes (1 to 10).
Example: Find cube root of 1728. 



Step 1. Make groups of three starting from units place. The number becomes 1, 728

Step 2. Here the last digit is 8. Cube of 8 ends in 2 so write 2 on units place.


Step 3. The highest number whose cube can be subtracted from next group 1 so that the result is positive 1. The ten digit will be 1. 

Answer :- 12

Example:
Find cube root of 614125

Step 1. The number becomes 614, 125

Step 2. Here the last digit is 5, so write 5 on units place. 

Step 3. The highest number is 614, the result is positive 8. 

Answer: So the number is 85.
